Happy Halloween Everyone!
We had a really good Halloween 2006 - I mean it was no Smile Bar in Ao Nang, Thailand.. But it certainly was one of the good times.
We had a very nice invitation from Mandy's boyfriends friends to join them in their Halloween Celebrations. Kirby and I donned our best costumes.. I went as a which complete with Unibrow and Kirby went as a creep.. Least thats what I called him all night..
With pumpkins and our meat and cheese plate in tow we headed off to his place in Chestermere.. We had a great meal with everything from Chicken Wings to Worms in Dirt thanks to everyone who brought treats for the potluck!
The first game on the list for the night was putting.. They placed the hole way across the other side of the room and those who were unfortunate enough to miss (Which was everyone) had to have a good 'ol shot of Jack Daniels..
Then we played dress the mummy where we split into teams of 4 and have to dress a person as a mummy using toilet paper and any props you can find.. It was a lot of fun with a lot of laughs!
Our night ended about 1:00ish as we just cant stay up late anymore (It would help if we could sleep in past 8:30am!)
We had Halloween here Tuesday night and instead of giving out the usual chocolate and candy we gave out mini play-dohs! We had about 40 kids which I hear is pretty good most people I talked to got 20-40 so we were right in the proper range and we still have half of our play-doh left.. Kirby thought maybe we should make a play-doh ball with all the stuff but instead we decided to give it to some toy charity for christmas. Jay finally managed to make it over halloween night and had a couple beer and caught us up on his goings on which was mucho fun.
And that was it for the big event!
