We got all decked out in our best to attend the Klohn Crippen Berger Christmas party this year.. We had an awesome time (Probably me more then Kirby just due to the booze factor) :)
We had hoped to meet with some friends before hand for some drinks but they got lost trying to find the Earls.. So Kirb and I started with some pre-drinks on our own.
We ended up parking at the Earls so we could leave the car overnight and then walked over to SAIT for the Christmas venue at the Highwood. We ended up able to save a table for 8 and when the friends gradually made their way in we were able to hold onto the table just long enough so that we could all sit together.
The bar when we got there was free and did not change over to a cash bar until sometime after 9:00 as it was supposed to end after dinner however dinner was late and not served until 8:00pm.. What a shame for us! Prior to the bar going cash we stocked up on free drinks and our table looked like a $.50 highball night at Cowboys.
Dinner was a lovely roast beef and stuffed potato meal with a tray of different cakes and pies which we split up and shared amongnst the table. The the night began!
At one point I had 4 drinks in front of me including one double.. That was plenty for me for the night.. I clearly had too much to drink as I joined my good friend Tanya on the dance floor shortly after..
By the end of the night everyone left had had their fare share of alcohol including myself and everyone was out dancing poorly and awkwardly :)
Craig was kind enough to give us a ride home so we could ditch the car.. Now we just have to go pick it up and practice the art of recovery today!

Looks like the older fellow beside you is quite comfortable with his position in the photo. Looks like you had fun.
