On the road again....

So after a lot of looking and not much luck we have been forced to say goodbye to Queenstown and move on to bigger and better things. Sarah and Bob will be doing a 2 week tour of the South island as they only have 7 weeks left here so getting a job is unlikely. Although Jason and Chris did have some job prospects in the bar industry - we have reviewed the places to live here in the South and decided finding a place to live will be much cheaper and easier elsewhere. Our new place of choice is a large university town called Dunedin - It is the second largest city on the South island which is a nice change from the 7500 people in Queenstown. The university does not get back in until end of Feb so us leaving now will ensure we can find some jobs and apartments before the students get back.
We will be leaving for Dunedin tomorrow which is a 3 hour drive and should arrive there about 3:00pm. Kirby is looking forward to this change as Dunedin has a lot more to offer for sightseeing and surfing.

Good luck, Dunedin is a really nice, very laid back town. You could also try New Zealand Telecom, as they are always looking for people.

Good luck with the job hunt kids.....hopefully it will be easier in a larger center and also with finding accomodation as it sounds like you are all getting a tad tired of hostel life as I can well imagine. Hopefully, next time I check your blog, good news will pop up re jobs. Lots of luck and kind regards, seija and brian
