Red Wood Timberlands

We went into the red wood forest today for a walk - The red woods towered high into the sky and the forest was very peaceful and full of the sound of birds chirping (Sorry Tammy, no parrots)
We walked through the forest for about 40min, enjoying the nature and beauty. We had intended to go to the hotsprings after but the days have turned quite warm and it no longer seemed like a good idea after our walk around the woods.
Kirby went golfing yesterday with Sarah, Bob & Jason and came in third which is not bad for only his second time golfing.
It doesn't seem to be raining as much as the days are getting hotter but the disasters seem to be following us, the other day a tornado touched down just outside Rotorua and the following day there was a earthquake on the south island - So long as they stay away we will be fine!

Your walk in the forest reminds of us the redwoods from our Oregon Coast trip. Nice photos. Way to go Kirby on your golfing...your Dad is envious. The weather here is getting warmer. We are having a chinook. We were out tonight and roads are wet. How is the car running? Have a great time and hopefully those natural disasters stay away from you all.
Love & hugs Mom & Dad
